Pictures: X-Treme Air inflatable obstacle course in West Bridgford announces opening date

Rushcliffe Arena announces the launch date of its exciting new feature, X-Treme Air, a brand new super large inflatable obstacle course.

The new feature based in Studio 3 at the West Bridgford site is fantastic fun for everyone, young or old with super slides, slaloms, a host of games and obstacles, to run, jump and bounce around on.

Bookings will initially be available for weekends from Saturday December 2 onwards and can be booked at https://www.leisurecentre.com/rushcliffe-arena/x-treme-air from Saturday November 25. For more information please email rushcliffe.reception@lexleisure.org.uk

It’s £8 per person for an hour’s fun with the initial sessions available on Saturdays at 2pm and 3.15pm and Sundays at 10am, 11.15am, 12.30pm, 2pm and 3.15pm. Socks must be worn at all times and parents and guardians have a large viewing area if choosing to not take on the obstacles!

Hit pad games are included in the new feature

Birthday party packages are launching on Sundays from 2024.

 

Rushcliffe Borough Council own the facility on Rugby Road in the town, operated by Lex Leisure – Cabinet Portfolio Holder Cllr Jonathan Wheeler joined the centre’s team and staff and some thrill-seeking youngsters to try out the new facility. 

Theres a whole host of obstacles to navigate at the new feature

He said: “This is a brilliant new feature at Rushcliffe Arena and lots of fun for all ages, I fully recommend it! The trials Lex Leisure have hosted to date were sold out within minutes and there’s been huge interest in bookings.

“Investing in and exploring different features at our leisure sites is vital so we can offer residents contemporary new and different ways to look after their health and wellbeing and all competitively priced with free parking on site and the café is open throughout. 

 

“This is a fantastic way to spend an hour and have endless fun, come and try it out!”

 

Debbie Porter, Rushcliffe Arena Centre Manager added: “The response has been wonderful. One feedback from a six-year old was it was 10 out of 10 the best thing he had ever been on! We just advise to book early to avoid disappointment as we anticipate the course will be very popular for a long time to come.
