The plans propose a mixed use scheme of commercial ground floor units with residential use above.
Plans have been submitted to Rushcliffe Borough Council.
The detail states:
The Black Pearl 42 – 44 Bridgford Road West Bridgford Nottingham Nottinghamshire NG2 6AP | |
Proposal | Creation of 7 No. flats including erection of three-storey side extension, application of cladding to existing side extension, insertion of 2 dormer windows to principal elevation and associated landscaping works |
---|
This would provide approximately 2,915 sq ft of commercial space currently split into two units.
On the first floor and above, there would be a total of seven apartments consisting of a mix of one-bed and two-bed units. The Rushcliffe Residential Design Guide identifies that higher urban densities are considered appropriate within the central West Bridgford area, of which this would fall.
The plans are described as, a high quality development reflective of other recently approved developments in West Bridgford such as Christonian Court (on the opposite side of Bridgford Road) and the former ambulance station on Rectory Road where 30 new apartments have been completed.
There are no public comments on the plans yet.
