Housebuilder Honey has submitted plans for 131 homes on an 11.9-acre site in Hucknall.
The proposed development, called Jasmine, would be built off Dorothy and Delia Avenue and include two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom homes across 14 house types.
The Sheffield-based company has exchanged contracts on the site and values the proposed development at £41.3 million.
The plans are awaiting a decision from Gedling Borough Council. Subject to approval, Honey expects construction to begin in the autumn, with the first residents moving in by spring 2027.
Mark Mitchell, Honey’s chief executive, said the company’s market research had identified demand for new homes in and around Hucknall.
He said: “Exchanging contracts on this site and submitting plans for our Jasmine development is a fantastic step forward as we look to further grow our footprint across Nottinghamshire and the East Midlands.”
Honey already has a development at Thoresby Vale in Edwinstowe and is currently selling homes at 11 locations.
Since launching in October 2022, the company says it has secured 32 sites across the Midlands and Yorkshire, with capacity for 4,842 homes and a combined gross development value of £1.4 billion. It is backed by private equity firm Alchemy Partners.
