Plumtree will see temporary traffic disruptions starting Thursday, January 25, 2024, due to urgent roadworks scheduled on Main Road.
4-way temporary traffic signals will facilitate the repair of a high-voltage (HV) cable fault.
The affected location is Main Road Plumtree, specifically at the junction with Church Hill and Bradmore Lane.
The roadworks are to locate and repair a fault in the High Voltage cable.
These roadworks are scheduled to last until Tuesday, February 6, 2024, with the temporary traffic signals operational 24-hours a day throughout this period. The continuous operation of these signals is necessary to ensure the swift completion of the works while maintaining road safety, says Nottinghamshire County Council.
National Grid, responsible for the electricity transmission network, has appointed Network Plus as the works promoter.
