Police share image after Arnold betting shop incident

Police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to identify and speak to after damage was caused to a betting shop gaming machine.

It was reported a man picked up a stool and started hitting the machine after he had earlier been asked to leave the Ladbrokes in Front Street, Arnold.

It’s understood the man also threw coins at a staff member before he left the shop. No injuries were reported.

Inquiries are ongoing into the incident which happened around 3.20pm on 22 August.

PC Tony Mait, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “As part of our ongoing inquiries I am appealing to the man pictured, or anyone who recognises him, to please come forward. We believe he could hold information that could assist us with our investigation.”

Anyone who recognises the man or who has any information should call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 491 of 22 August 2024 , or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
