Police appeal for public’s help after Nottingham high street café burglary

Police are appealing for information after a high street café was burgled.

A safe containing cash was taken from The Little Kitchen café in Derby Road, Stapleford.

The shop front window was also smashed during the break in, which happened at around 1.10am on Saturday (5 February).

Police are looking to speak to a man and a woman who were seen in the area at around the time of the incident.

The man is described as around 6ft 2ins and was wearing a green puffer jacket, while the woman was dressed all in black and wearing leggings.

Inspector Mike Ebbins, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Our investigations are still ongoing to establish what happened and we would urge anyone who has any information that could assist our enquiries to come forward straight away.

“Nobody should ever have their livelihoods put at risk by criminality which is why my team are committed to identifying the offenders and obtaining justice for the victims.”
