Police appeal for public’s help after teenage boy sexually assaulted in Wilford

Detectives investigating an incident where a teenage boy was allegedly sexually assaulted are appealing to anyone with information that could help.

It’s a week since it happened in the Wilford toll bridge area of Wilford, Nottingham at around 6.30pm (Friday 2 October).

The offender is described as being white, around 40-years-old, around 5ft 9ins tall with little to no hair. He was of a strong build and had a bump to the bridge of his nose.

He was wearing a black/brown jacket with buttons that cover the zip, pockets at the bottom and the collar pointed up and dark blue jeans. He had a deep voice and a Nottingham accent.

Detective Sergeant Laura Clarke, said: “We’re taking this incident really seriously and are doing everything possible to track down the offender who’s been described.

“So if you do recognise the description or you were in the area around the time it happened and saw something unusual or have any information that could help, please call us. It could just be the key to uncovering who was behind this attack.”
