Police ask for help after three men force their way into 89-year-old West Bridgford woman’s home

Police are seeking the public’s help after an 89-year-old West Bridgford woman fell victim to three burglars.

It happened in Adbolton Lane between about 10.10am and 10.35am yesterday (Monday 24 June 2019).

The three men forced their way in and took a quantity of cash and jewellery before leaving.

It’s believed the offenders may have left the scene in a white car.

Detective Sergeant Luke Todd said: “Thankfully the elderly victim wasn’t injured during this frightening incident but she has been left very shaken by what happened.

“Our enquiries are ongoing and we’re appealing for anyone who saw what happened or saw anything suspicious around the time of the incident to call us.

“We’d particularly like to hear from anyone who may have seen these men running away from the scene and any drivers who may have recorded dash-cam footage of the incident.
