Police ask for public’s help after high-value watches and handbags stolen

Police are seeking the public’s help after high-value watches and designer handbags were stolen during a house burglary.

Five masked men, who were wearing dark clothing and carrying lump hammers/pickaxes, smashed their way into a property off Knowle Lane, Kimberley.

A man was hit with a hammer before the suspects demanded valuables and access to a safe. He suffered bruising and swelling.

They fled the property with a number of high-value watches, several handbags, a mobile phone, and a purse containing bank cards.

Detectives are actively investigating the burglary, which happened around 7.30pm on Thursday (4 December), and are continuing to do everything they can to identify the suspects and recover the stolen goods.
