Police were called after a member of the public reported the caller.
A spokesperson for Nottinghamshire Police said:
‘Following a call from a member of public of an aggressive door-to-door seller cold-calling on Musters Road, West Bridgford, officers located and reported for summons a male acting as a peddler without a Peddlers’ Certificate contrary to the Peddlers Act 1871.
