Police officers have been out carrying out reassurance patrols in Ruddington and East Leake this week.
A spokesperson for the force said:
‘We are engaging with the few people we see, from a safe distance, and ensuring that people understand the safeguards and restrictions that have been put in place.
‘Good to see that we are not seeing people queuing outside the shops for food.
‘The government advice is to only shop for essentials.
‘There were very few people around in East Leake when this officer was on foot patrol.’
