Police warned a resident about illegal escooter use.
A spokesperson said:
‘As part of ongoing operations Radcliffe on Trent beat manager PC Sanders has been on Patrol with SC Arnold addressing speeding and e-scooter concerns engaging with local residents.’
‘SPEEDING – Radcliffe on Trent, East Bridgford, Bingham – At each location numerous vehicles were checked and none found to be over the speed limit – Thank you for driving carefully
‘Whilst on Patrol a local resident was warned in relation to the use of e-scooters – PC Sanders would like to remind any person riding an e-scooter and stopped by an officer could result in a warning being issued and should a user of an e-scooter be stopped for a second time then this could result in seizure of the e-scooter under Section 165 Road Traffic Act 1988.’
