Residents wondered what the large police presence was about.
Police in Bulwell said:
‘You may have wondered why there was such a large police presence on Willow Hill Close today.
‘No there wasn’t a serious police incident, however drugs dog Baxter, decided to hunt a pheasant on the pit and disappeared from view.
‘After 3 hours of searching for Baxter, he was found by eagle eyed Dog whisperer PC Porter at a local fishing pond enjoying the scenery.

‘Rumour has it that the handler is cooking breakfast this weekend as a punishment.’
