A stolen car was recovered and two suspected burglars arrested with the support of a police helicopter.
Roads policing officers spotted the stolen Jaguar shortly before 5pm yesterday (Monday) and began following it towards Ravenshead.
Supported by a helicopter from the National Police Air Service, officers on the ground began devising a plan to bring the vehicle to a stop.
It was boxed in a few minutes later as it made its way along Field Lane towards Blidworth

Two men, aged 38 and 31 were arrested on suspicion of burglary and theft.
The car, stolen during a burglary in December, had been travelling on cloned plates and has been recovered.

Detective Sergeant Nathan Bingham, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:
“We’ve been on the lookout for this car for a while and were very quickly able to call on additional resources one we did.
“Thanks to the presence in the area of a police helicopter we had the ability to follow this vehicle over a long distance, but in the end were able to bring this vehicle to a swift and compliant stop.”
