Officers from Rushcliffe Operation Reacher were out on 1 May in the community conducting speed checks.
Officers were in the Compton Acres area following reports and concerns from local residents regarding speeding vehicles.
A spokesperson said:
‘We are pleased to say most vehicles checked were sticking to the posted 30 mph limit, with a few slightly over, these drivers were stopped and dealt with accordingly.
‘We have more traffic / speeding operations planned, so please ensure you adhere to the speed limits and check your vehicle is road worthy before driving.
‘If any local residents have any suggestions for future areas, please feel free to contact police in Rushcliffe.’
