Police in Rushcliffe reunite owner with stolen horse box

Police tracked the horse box down after it had been stolen from Lincolnshire.

Neighbourhood Policing Officers from Rushcliffe South responded to information from a member of the public which subsequently led to the discovery of an Ifor Williams horsebox trailer which had been reported stolen from the Lound area in Lincolnshire on 14 March.

The trailer had been abandoned down a track and hidden between a large storage container and outbuilding in the Langar area of Nottinghamshire.

Despite offenders removing the registration plate for the trailer officers were able to identify and contact the victim.
