Teams from Notts Police local neighbourhood policing have been at the site.
Police said:
‘This morning West Bridgford Neighbourhood Policing Team have been conducting foot patrols in the Sharphill Woods area, after reports received of groups congregating and deliberately fire setting in recent days.
‘Notts Fire & Rescue Service ask if you see a fire to report it immediately to them on 999
‘If you are in this area and see groups acting suspicious then please call 101. Or in an emergency 999.’
