Nottingham – Officers have released an image of a man they wish to identify following an assault on a member of staff.
The incident occurred on Saturday, 30 November, just before 1:30 am, at the Top Spot Club in Carlton Hill.
A staff member in his 50s was punched in the mouth and subsequently kicked. He sustained a split lip and required hospital treatment.
Despite carrying out several lines of inquiry to locate the person responsible, no arrests have yet been made.
To assist the investigation, officers have now released an image of a man who could help with their inquiries and are appealing for the public’s assistance in identifying him.
PC Tony Mait, who is leading the investigation, stated:
“No one should have to go to work and face this type of violence.
“The victim was punched and kicked before the group left the venue at speed.
“We have now released an image of a man that could assist with our inquiries and are calling on the public’s help.
“Do you know the man in the image? Are you the man in the image? Please contact us as soon as possible.”
