Detectives have launched an investigation after reports of a stabbing in The Meadows.
Police were called to Sheriffs Way at 3.30pm on Wednesday 12 August after reports of a fight at the Bridgeway Shopping Centre.
An 18-year-old man has been taken to hospital with a leg injury, which is not believed to be life-threatening or life-altering.
A cordon remains in place as evidence is gathered.
DI Paul Shortt, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Officers are working at pace to establish exactly what has happened.
“We understand that this will be concerning for residents, but officers are working hard to find those responsible.
“We also want to hear from anyone who saw or heard anything which could assist our inquiries.
“Officers will remain in the area to provide reassurance, and if you have any concerns, please speak with them.”
