Police name Nottingham pedestrian who died after a collision in Etwall

A man that sadly died in a collision in Etwall, Derbyshire earlier this week has been named as James Bane from Nottingham.

James was a pedestrian at the scene on Egginton Road where the collision took place, just after midday on Tuesday 28 September.

A 34-year-old woman, who was also a pedestrian, was injured during the crash.

A 50-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and has been released on bail, pending further enquiries, police said.

Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact Derbyshire Police on 101 quoting reference number 441 of 28 September.
