PC Aodan O’Neill, aged 27, who is based at Lincoln, has been summoned to appear at Nottingham Magistrates Court on Thursday 5 June 25.
PC O’Neill is charged with an offence of dangerous driving.
It is alleged that on 4 November 24, he drove a police Vauxhall Astra dangerously on Broadgate, Lincoln. The vehicle driven by PC O’Neill collided with a man crossing a pedestrian crossing.
The officer is on non-operational duties.
