Police operation in West Bridgford after arrest on suspicion of terrorism offences

A man has been arrested in Lady Bay.

Police dogs and unmarked police vehicles together with a Tactical Support Group van are at the scene in Lady Bay in Holme Road.

A spokesperson for Nottinghamshire Police said: “Police are currently in the Lady Bay area of West Bridgford, conducting a pre-planned operation as part of an ongoing investigation.

“A 26-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday (14 March) on suspicion of preparing to commit acts of terrorism and remains in police custody for questioning.
