Police presence and helicopter deployment at Rushcliffe Country Park

The officers and helicopter were engaged in the search for a missing person.

An NPAS ( National Police Air Service ) helicopter was circling the country park for around half an hour at 1:30 pm on Monday 2 December.

Two police vehicles and several officers and PCSOs entered Rushcliffe Country Park at around the same time.

A spokesperson for Nottinghamshire Police confirmed to The Wire that the person has since been located safe and well.
