A warrant in relation to the importation of drugs was executed in Bingham this morning by officers from the Rushcliffe Neighbourhood Policing Team.
A spokesperson said:
‘This is part of ongoing work in Bingham around drug supply and nationally around the importation of drugs from abroad by misusing the postal network.
‘UK Border Force and postal service providers screen parcels sent to the UK for drugs, weapons and other prohibited or dangerous items details of the senders and intended recipients are shared with international law enforcement agencies to pursue those who send or receive prohibited items by post.’
