A man has been arrested after suspected Class A drugs were seized from a Radford property.
Officers from the Berridge neighbourhood team executed the warrant at a property on Alfreton Road after 2pm on Wednesday (7 January).
After forcing entry to the address, officers swiftly recovered the suspected Class A drugs heroin and cocaine.
They also seized a quantity of cash, mobile phones and scales.
A 46-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.
He has been released on bail as the investigation continues.
PC Tiffany Elliot, of the Berridge neighbourhood policing team, said:
“Drug dealing and drug related criminality can have a significant impact on our communities, which includes the vulnerable people who become addicted to them.
“Warrants like the one play a major role in allowing us to take more drugs away from our streets.
“We would urge anyone who has any information about potential drug activity in their area to always contact the police on 101, so that we can act.”
