Police re-appeal for witnesses to Nottingham city assault

A 21-year-old man remains in a stable condition in hospital

Police are asking again for witnesses to come forward with information after an incident in Nottingham city centre seven days ago, which left a man with serious head injuries.

The assault happened at about 2.30am on Saturday (16 March 2019) near the junction of Lower Parliament Street and Clumber Street, outside the Victoria Centre and near to the number 27 bus stop.

A 21-year-old man remains in a stable condition in hospital.

A 24-year-old man has been voluntarily interviewed under caution in connection with the incident.

Our enquiries are ongoing and officers still wish to speak to any witnesses or anyone who may have recorded footage of the incident as we continue to investigate the circumstances of what took place.
