Police recover shoplifters’ haul after village store theft

Police officers recovered the entire haul.

Police said:

‘On Monday 22nd January, police officers were made aware of three males stealing from a shop in Langold.

‘Neighbourhood and Response Officers made their way to the area and tracked down the vehicle the males were travelling in and brought it to a stop, recovering all the items the suspects had taken.

‘This follows a series of similar shop thefts which have taken place in South Yorkshire.

‘The males aged 50, 48 and 36 were all arrested and items recovered.

‘Shop theft impacts us all as it drives prices up.’
