A motorcycle believed to have been stolen has been recovered by police in Retford.
Officers from the East Bassetlaw Neighbourhood Policing Team located the bike on 20 April 2026 as part of ongoing work to tackle vehicle-related offences in the area.
The recovery comes amid a reported increase in incidents involving motorbikes being ridden dangerously in and around Bassetlaw. Police say this behaviour poses a significant risk to riders, pedestrians and other road users.

Officers are continuing to act on information from the public, including intelligence relating to the use, movement and whereabouts of motorcycles suspected to be involved in offences.
