Police release CCTV images in burglary investigation

Investigations have been ongoing, and now Nottinghamshire Police have released images of two men they would like to speak to in relation to the incident. 

Police have released images to help trace a suspect they want to speak with in connection to a burglary.

Officers are investigating after a house was burgled in Shaftsbury Street, New Basford.

A man allegedly managed to break into the victim’s home through a downstairs window before searching downstairs rooms and taking the victim’s handbag, purse, bank cards and two phones on the morning of 16 March 2021.

Detective Constable Louise Turton, from Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Our enquires are ongoing into this matter and we are working hard to try to identify the offenders responsible.

“We would like to speak with anyone who may know or recognise these men or who saw anything suspicious on the morning of the incident.

“We are keen to identify and speak with the men in these images as we believe they may have vital information about what happened which could assist us with our investigation.”

Anyone with any information about the burglary or who may recognise the man pictured is urged to contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 118 or 16 March 2021, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
