The incident was one of a few attended by the station.
Police said:
‘As we unfortunately come to expect at this time of year we have already attended an increase in road traffic collisions.
‘A delivery van at Cotes and a head-on collision on Woodgate Road East Leake in just the last three days.
‘Add to that assisting with a police incident and firefighting at Sims Metal have kept the East Leake crew very busy this week.
‘Thanks to the Shepshed crew who together with us from East Leake station worked to free trapped drivers after a nasty RTC in East Leake.
