Police are seeking the public’s help after two men were punched following a verbal altercation in the street.
Investigations are ongoing after the victims were assaulted in Victoria Street, Nottingham city centre.
One sustained bruising to his cheek and under his eye and the other suffered pain from being punched in the back of the head.
As part of their enquiries officers have released CCTV images of three men they would like to speak to in connection with the affray which happened at around 8.20pm on 16 October 2021.
The incident is currently being linked to an assault which also happened in Victoria Street on the same night. A man suffered serious head injuries during this incident.
Police Constable Hannah-Grace Jolly, from Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Violence on our streets is totally unacceptable and we are doing everything we can to track down those responsible.
“We are keen to hear from anyone who knows the people pictured as we believe they may have vital information about what happened which could assist us with our investigation.
“If you think you recognise any of the men or if you have any other information which could help us with our enquiries please call the police.”
Anyone who recognises any of the men is urged to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 681 of 16 October 2021, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
Anyone who was in this area around the time and saw what happened or anyone who may have CCTV, dash-cam or mobile phone footage of the incident is also urged to contact police.
