The incident happened on 10 August on the M1 between junction 29 and 28 southbound.
Two lanes were closed and motorists were delayed after the collision, which involved a car, lorry and a car towing the caravan.
Derbyshire Police said:
‘M1 Southbound 29 to 28.
‘Three vehicle collision including one towing a caravan.
