Police release images of stolen motorbike in appeal

Police have released images of a stolen motorbike as part of an appeal to track it down.

Officers were called to Boundary Road, Newark, following reports the bike had been taken from its owner.

The victim was riding the motorbike along the street when they were approached by a man who reportedly asked to have a go on it.

After being handed the bike, the suspect then rode off on it and didn’t return, during the incident at around 5:10 pm on 29 May 2023.

The suspect is described as white, and in their early 20s, while they were reportedly dressed in a blue t-shirt and black jeans.

Images of the stolen bike are now being released by the police, as part of an appeal to locate it and identify the suspect.

PC Rebecca Skinner, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “The stolen motorbike is quite distinctive in its appearance, so we’re hoping that releasing these pictures will help us track it down.

“If you’ve seen this bike, witnessed the theft in Boundary Road as it happened, or know anything else relating to this incident, please contact the police.”
