Police in Leicestershire reponded to reports of a person on the M69 hard shoulder.
Police in Leicestershire said:
‘Tonight we responded to a pedestrian on the M69 motorway.
‘On arrival we found a chap litter picking on the hard shoulder.
‘Checks revealed he was a high risk missing person!
‘Male taken home and the relevant safeguarding measures taken with the Police Response Team for Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland colleagues.
