Detectives are appealing for information after a motorcyclist was injured in a hit‑and‑run collision in Lenton.
Emergency services were called to Middleton Boulevard shortly after 10pm on Friday 20 February following a collision involving a silver BMW 3 Series.
The driver and passenger stopped briefly at the scene before driving off down Dorket Drive and later abandoning the vehicle on Charnock Avenue.
Both suspects are described as white, of Eastern European origin, and had dark beards. The passenger was said to be wearing a grey tracksuit.
The rider, who was struck as he passed a junction, required surgery for a double ankle fracture.
PC Jak Walker, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:
“The victim in this case is facing a lengthy physical recovery, and we are determined to get him the justice he deserves.
“Investigations into this incident are ongoing and we have already spoken with a number of witnesses.
“To help us catch up with the driver, we would like to hear from anyone who may have seen him either behind the wheel or in the moments after this car was abandoned.
“We’d particularly like to hear from anyone who was in Charnock Avenue or who may have video footage from the area at around the time of this incident.”
Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting incident 678 of 20 February 2026. Information can also be passed to Crimestoppers.
