Detective Constable Aiden Rowton, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This was a completely unprovoked attack that left a man in hospital with nasty injuries to his face.

“It should go without saying but this kind of violent behaviour is completely unacceptable and has no place on our streets or in our communities.

“We are keen to hear from anyone who recognises any of the five men pictured in these images as we feel they may have vital information that could assist our investigation.”

Anyone with information should call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 351 of 13 March 2022, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
