Police share image after assault on dancefloor at Nottingham nightclub

Police investigating an assault on a nightclub dancefloor have released an image of a man they would like to speak to.

The victim was struck to the face by another man inside the Rescue Rooms, in Masonic Place, Nottingham, around 2.50 am on 6 April 2024.

Officers have been carrying out several inquiries and are now in a position to release a CCTV image of a man they believe could have important information about what happened.

Police Constable Dave Jennings, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:

“This sort of behaviour is unacceptable and we are working hard to understand the circumstances of what happened.

“The victim was simply enjoying a night out and this is not how anyone should expect their evening to end.

“We have now released an image of a man we would like to speak to. We believe he may have important information which could help our inquiries.”
