Police speed checks continue after residents’ complaints

Police in Nottinghamshire continue to carry out speed checks after resident complaints.

Police said:

‘A speeding operation was conducted by the Eastwood policing team on Thursday 9th June 2022 in response to complaints from residents.

‘Static checkpoints were set up at several locations along Nottingham Road, Nuthall and Kimberley Road, Nuthall.

‘The operation was carried out by PC Ward, PC Hodges, PCSO Cupit and PCSO Keeley.

‘Several vehicles were stopped and issued a Traffic Offence Report (TOR) for excess speeding and reported for the offence.

‘Speeding will not be tolerated on our roads and we will enforce and continue with speed checks and take the necessary action against drivers that are exceeding the speed limits.’
