Road closures are currently in place and traffic is being diverted following a collision between a bus and a pedestrian.
‘The incident happened on Loughborough Road, West Bridgford, shortly after 5.30 pm, tonight (Monday 16 October).
‘Emergency services are on scene dealing with the ongoing incident.
‘The following roads are currently closed: Loughborough Road outbound junction with Rushworth Avenue and Millicent Road.
‘Drivers are asked to please avoid the area and make alternate travel arrangements as the roads are expected to remain closed for some time while an investigation takes place.
‘We would ask anyone in the area at the time or who witnessed the incident to please get in touch with us by calling 101, quoting incident number 549 of 16 October 2023.’
