Police statement after four injured in street fight in the early hours in Nottingham city centre

Police oficers were called to a fight in the street in Nottingham city centre.

Officers from Nottinghamshire Police attended Lower Parliament Street, Nottingham, at around 4:30 am on Saturday, 11 March.

Four men are reported to have suffered injuries which are not believed to be life-altering or life-threatening.

A spokesperson for Nottinghamshire Police said:

“This was a totally unacceptable incident and officers did well to quickly bring the disorder under control.

“Our investigation into exactly what happened is at a very early stage and I would urge anyone with information, CCTV or dash-cam footage which could help with our inquiries to get in touch immediately.”
