NET are running with delays after the incident which took place this afternoon.
Inspector Nick Wood, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Officers were called to Old Market Square tram stop in Nottingham city centre, shortly before 3.40pm today (17 June) following a report of an incident on a tram.
“Officers quickly worked with our partners at Nottingham Express Transit to bring the tram to a stop.
“Following a search of the tram it was deemed no further action was required and the line has now been re-opened.”
