The A60 London Road Trent Bridge closed while police dealt with an incident.
Nottinghamshire Police said: “Officers were called to reports of concerns for a woman’s safety shortly after 8pm yesterday (Monday 24 April).
“The bridge was closed while the incident was dealt with.
The incident was safely resolved by 10.15pm and the road was reopened shortly afterwards.”
“We would like to thank members of the public for their patience while officers dealt with this incident.”
