Nottinghamshire Police Roads Unit stopped this dangerous pickup on the A1.
Police said:
‘RPU Officers stopped this unsecured load on the A1 near Worksop.
‘A lack of regard for other road users as this contained screws, nails and scrap metal that could have easily ended up on the carriageway!
‘An expensive lesson for the driver, and money saved on tyres by the public.
