The incident was reported on the A1 at Tuxford in Nottinghamshire.
Nottinghamshire Police said:
‘PC Phillips spotted a forest on wheels on the A1 at Tuxford.
‘The van was swaying about due to the trees not being properly secured.
‘It is very dangerous to drive on any road with an insecure load but especially dangerous on the A1.

‘We simply will not allow it.
‘The vehicle was stopped and weighed and was 58% over-weight, the van was prohibited and driver reported for the offence.’
