Officers carried out vehicle stops in the area.
A spokesperson for Nottinghamshire Police said:
‘On Tuesday evening 27 September officers from the Roads Policing team conducted extra patrols in the areas of Gamston, along the A52, A453 and Junction 24 of the M1.
The operation is following a rise in reports of cars speeding and causing anti-social behaviour.
‘A number of drivers were spoken to, with one being issued a Traffic Offence Report for excess speed.
