Police use drones in Cotgrave to tackle nuisance off-road bikes

Police carried out the operation on Sunday 15 May.

Police said:

‘Officers from Nottinghamshire Police’s Off Road Team, Rushcliffe South Neighbourhood Policing Team and the Drone Unit have been on patrol this afternoon following a large amount of reported incidents regarding off road motor bike offences and anti-social behaviour in and around Cotgrave in the last few weeks.

‘This follows regular patrols to tackle anti-social behaviour and enforcement action being taken in previous weeks.

‘This is the latest part of a cross-agency operation where Nottinghamshire Police, Rushcliffe Borough Council, Cotgrave Town Council and County Council have arranged both enforcement action and preventative measures to reduce anti-social behaviour and related offences, with further developments coming in the weeks ahead.’
