Stingers had to be used to bring a stolen lorry to a halt after it was spotted by crime-detecting cameras.
Police were made aware of the vehicle after automatic number plate recognition cameras flagged it up as being stolen from the Leeds area.
Officers were then able to track the truck to a service station on the A1 near North Muskham at around 8.45pm on Wednesday (2 November).
After being approached by police, the lorry pulled away and failed to stop, despite multiple requests being made for the driver to do so.
Stingers were then safely deployed by officers to help slow the truck down as it continued travelling southbound along the A1.

Despite the damage caused to the tyres, the vehicle continued to be driven erratically before it came to a stop in Great North Road, Newark.
When the driver tried to flee from the scene a short foot-chase then took place, with officers managing to track down the suspect just a few minutes later.
Police arrested a 41-year-old man on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle, dangerous driving and failing to stop.

He was also arrested on suspicion of drug-driving, driving while disqualified and having no insurance.
Sergeant Jamie Bower, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This was a great example of the police utilising the technology available to us to track down and recover a stolen lorry.
“Thanks to the skill of our pursuing officers, we were also able to safely bring this vehicle to a stop within minutes without anyone coming to harm.
“Vehicle theft is a serious offence that can be very upsetting for victims and have wider implications, whether that be financial or just disrupting people’s day-to-day lives.
“There is never an excuse for anyone to drive dangerously as happened in this incident as it puts others on the roads at risk, which is obviously unacceptable.
“We have arrested a suspect in connection with this case but our inquiries are ongoing, so we’d ask anyone with information to contact the police on 101, quoting incident 673 of 2 November 2022.”
