Police warning after burglary and vehicle crime incidents on new estates in Edwalton and Wilford Lane

Police in Rushcliffe have issued a warning to residents and are increasing patrols.

 

PC Robert Archer of Nottinghamshire Police said:

‘Please be aware that in the early hours of 22nd January several incidents of burglary and vehicle crime have occurred in the new estates in the Edwalton  area and the Foxfield Way estate off Wilford Lane.

‘Offenders have been seen trying door handles to vehicles and premises.

‘Please ensure your vehicles and homes are locked and secured.

‘Police are investigating the incidents and If you have any information or CCTV footage about this incident please contact Notts Police on 101 quoting incident number 0279_23012022’

‘Police patrols will be increasing in the area.’
