An investigation is underway following an overnight break-in at a leisure centre.
Intruders stole cash and property while causing damage within Lammas Leisure Centre too.
A window was smashed to gain access to the Sutton-in-Ashfield building before it was then burgled.
Thieves helped themselves to cash from a charity box and a vending machine.
Property was taken from the staff room as well, while criminal damage was also discovered across the premises.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to the burglary, which happened between 1.55am and 2.30am on Monday (19 January).
PC Mason Beall, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:
“Our understanding is that at least three people entered the property during different stages of this burglary.
“Considerable damage was caused inside, while property and cash – including from a charity box in the centre – was also stolen.
“It really should go without saying but this is completely unacceptable, so we’re determined to track down whoever was involved.
“As such, we’re keen to speak to anyone who may have seen this happen or thinks they might know who could’ve been responsible.
“Anyone with any information is asked to share it with the police directly on 101, quoting incident 63 of 19 January 2026.
“You can also report anything anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
