West Bridgford’s Proms in the Park returns for 2022 in Bridgford Park.
On the last Saturday in June thousands of people around Britain join together every year to mark Armed Forces Day, a nationwide celebration to honour the work of the British Armed Forces.
In Nottinghamshire one of the biggest events takes place in West Bridgford at Rushcliffe Borough Council’s free annual Proms in the Park outdoor concert.
Audiences will be welcomed back to Bridgford Park on 25 June from 12pm until 9pm for a busy and eclectic programme of live musical performances featuring Abi and the Tasty Mooresels, Tuneless Choir, Nottingham Concert Band, The West Bridgford Liberty Singers, Nottingham Youth Band & Rock Choir. Our headliners will be Majesty – A tribute to Queen live on stage at 7pm.
A number of the usual Armed Forces Day supporters will be at Proms in the Park to highlight the important work of the British armed forces and to promote the support Rushcliffe Borough Council and our community partners provide through schemes such as the Armed Forces Community Covenant.
Admission to Proms in the Park is free and no tickets are required.
